Data Security

In accordance with the new EU regulations on the security and handling of personal data (GDPR), we declare our position as follows:

1. General : The information on this site is held in accordance with the requirements and principles of Swiss law as defined in the Federal Act on Data Protection and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

2. Personal Data : The only personal data we collect is that which the customer enters during order placement (name, address, telephone and e-mail). All data input is encrypted before transmission and is used by us for the sole purpose of order fulfilment and to enable contact with the customer in case of a problem with supply or delivery, or in the context of occasional e-mailing, unless the customer has requested not to be included. All such personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is not disclosed to third parties under any circumstances.

3. Payment Data : The credit card data entered by the customer in the payment process is retained by the payment provider (Saferpay, SIX Payment Services AG). Only the card type, the last 4 digits (of 16) and country of origin are disclosed to us to enable order identification for accounting purposes. P.Young & Partner is a certified online merchant compliant with the PCI DSS standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

4. Customer Tracking and Scripts : We do not employ customer tracking and collect no data about visitors to our website. The only scripts (Javascript) we use are to enable the rendering of our image data.

5. Cookies: The only so-called cookies are those created by the shop software (Shop Factory by 3D3.COM Pty Ltd.) for the optimisation of the user's experience (eg. by recognition of the customer on a return visit, thus avoiding the need to re-enter name and address details in future orders), which can be disabled if the user so wishes. The shop software contains many other scripts which are essential for its functionality but which collect no data about the user.
